Book Review: Max On Life by Max Lucado
This book has some great questions about God's love, grace, hope & struggles in life. Max Lucado has a great writing style and it's very easy to read his insightful answers that are backed by Biblical references & truths.
This book is a handy guide for some questions on topics like "Why go to church?", "What do I when there has been betrayal in our marriage?", "How do I stop worrying?" and many more, real life questions.
The format is different than other Max Lucado books but I breezed through this book very quickly. It's easy to read one question, the answer & then put the book down. You don't have to remember where you left off and can use the helpful index to find topics you'd like to read about.
I'd recommend it and have reviewed it for Booksneeze. All opinions are 100% my own.

Review: A Conversation With God For Women
A Conversation With God For Women, If You Could Ask God Anything What Would It Be? by Marcia Ford
I read this book through each section of questions that women sometimes ask, such as why bad things happen to good people? Why do we need to go to Church? How to deal with gossip, hurt feelings, worry, etc.
It answers those questions and many more from a personal, conversing position with God, Jesus and other Biblical persons.
I personally felt it was a strange way to answer questions and it left me flipping to the back of the book to find exact scripture references so I could read my Bible for more insight. It was thought-provoking, yes. A guide book for answers, no.
Only the Bible can truly answer these questions about each topic. I felt it was vague and prefer a women's study Bible to this book.

Thanks for stopping by :) Really I am a bit late to get the party started here but better late than never, right?
I'm Lisa, frugal mom blogger, living in Connecticut with my husband & daughter. I am a coupon fanatic. I LOVE to save money on my purchases and if I'm not saving something, well, I'd rather not shop at all.
It is a bit of an obsession...combing through magazines, newspapers, flyers, etc for deals. I love all deals and the bigger the better.
I started emailing friends & family when I found huge savings on items and then decided to start CT Coupon Chic to save time posting deals. It has turned into a passion of mine. I hope it can save some of you some money.
